क़तर में शुरू हुआ UPI पेमेंट सिस्टम | UPI Launches in Qatar

भारत का लोकप्रिय डिजिटल पेमेंट सिस्टम UPI (Unified Payments Interface) अब क़तर में भी शुरू हो गया है। इस नई सुविधा से भारतीय यात्री बिना नकद या फॉरेक्स कार्ड के, सीधे अपने बैंक खाते से रियल-टाइम पेमेंट कर सकेंगे।

India’s most trusted digital payment system, UPI (Unified Payments Interface), has officially arrived in Qatar. With this new move, Indian travelers can make instant payments directly from their Indian bank accounts, without needing cash or forex cards.

QNB और NPCI की साझेदारी से हुआ संभव | Partnership Between QNB and NPCI

Qatar National Bank (QNB) और NPCI International (NIPL) के बीच साझेदारी से यह सेवा शुरू हुई है। अब QNB नेटवर्क से जुड़े कई स्टोर्स और मर्चेंट्स पर QR कोड स्कैन करके पेमेंट किया जा सकता है। शुरुआत Hamad International Airport के Qatar Duty Free स्टोर से हुई है।

This service became possible after a partnership between Qatar National Bank (QNB) and NPCI International (NIPL). Customers can now make QR-based UPI payments at several QNB merchant locations, starting from Qatar Duty Free stores at Hamad International Airport.

भारत के वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री श्री पीयूष गोयल ने क़तर की राजधानी दोहा में स्थित Lulu Hypermarket में इस सेवा का औपचारिक उद्घाटन किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि “UPI भारत की तकनीकी शक्ति और डिजिटल ट्रस्ट का प्रतीक है, जो अब दुनिया में अपनी जगह बना रहा है।”

The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, inaugurated the UPI service at Lulu Hypermarket in Doha, Qatar.
He remarked that “UPI represents India’s technological strength and digital trust, and its global reach is a proud moment for all Indians.”

भारतीय यात्रियों के लिए बड़ी राहत | Big Relief for Indian Travellers

अब क़तर में रहने या घूमने जाने वाले भारतीयों के लिए पेमेंट करना पहले से कहीं आसान होगा। वे अपने मोबाइल पर मौजूद ऐप जैसे PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm या बैंक ऐप से सीधे QR कोड स्कैन करके पेमेंट कर सकते हैं।

This brings huge relief for Indian tourists and residents in Qatar. They can easily pay at local stores using their PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, or any bank UPI app, simply by scanning a QR code.

क़तर के अलावा UAE, सिंगापुर, श्रीलंका, नेपाल, फ्रांस और मॉरिशस जैसे देशों में भी UPI पेमेंट की सुविधा शुरू हो चुकी है। इससे भारतीयों के लिए विदेश यात्रा और आसान हो गई है।

Apart from Qatar, UAE, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Nepal, France, and Mauritius have also adopted UPI payments, making international travel much simpler for Indians.
